Janeen Ferdinand is the founder of Mentoring with Music® and The Blessing Publishing House®, and a faith-driven singer, songwriter, producer, voiceover artist, and music mentor passionate about creating, recording, and releasing songs that speak life, hope, and purpose.

With several independent releases and a Boston Music Award nomination, Janeen has worked with multi-platinum and Grammy award-winning producers including Maurice Starr (New Edition and New Kids on the Block), Michael Jonzun, Donnie Wahlberg, Gerald Lee (songwriter for Patti LaBelle), and Grammy-nominated producer and saxophonist Scott Mayo. She has toured throughout the United States for many years, performing, recording, and opening for numerous national acts including multiple Grammy Award winners The Fugees.

As a child of adoption, Janeen’s heart has always been rooted in encouraging others through authentic storytelling, faith-filled music, and meaningful mentorship. Her passion is helping people discover their God-given voice, purpose, and creative calling while inspiring them to uplift others along the way.

A former worship leader for Pillars of Faith Christian Center, Janeen currently serves as music manager for the community outreach Winning at the Race of Life® and Executive Assistant to Hollywood stuntman, speaker, and star of the Netflix series DRIVE HARD: The Maloof Way, Sammy Maloof.

Based near Los Angeles, Janeen continues writing, recording, producing, releasing music, mentoring students of all ages, and developing music for television, film, advertising, and sync licensing opportunities.
